Terry White has been a music educator in Maine for 35 years, having taught instrumental music from elementary to college level. He has a B.M. in Composition from Berklee College of Music and an M.S. in Music Education from the University of New Hampshire. Mr. White is a published composer and arranger with several companies. He has had pieces commissioned by the Portland Symphony Orchestra and several high school and college ensembles throughout New England and New York.
Mr. White performs and writes for the Portland Jazz Orchestra. He has conducted several district and statewide music festivals and is an active adjudicator and clinician. Mr. White lives in Westbrook with his wife Mary Ellen and two sons, Matthew and Thomas.
